I was studying Java at NIIT Chhindwara (M.P). As a result of my good points and fluency, I got a job in the Java branch of NIIT Jaipur.
Since I had always wanted to be independent, I was very happy with this gift.
I went to Jaipur and my father put me in a hostel, and they all came back.
A week later, I realized that this was not my job.
Ten days later, I told my brother who was working in Mumbai that I could not continue but that I would not be able to return home. I come to Mumbai.
On November 27, 2009, I arrived in Mumbai for the first time in my life.
It was Bandra Terminal. My brother was waiting for me.
We moved to Bandra station from the station to catch the local train. He said it would also be a long journey as we live in Navi Mumbai. It would take an hour to get home. I said okay okay.
He would tell me everything about the local train and how I should handle that, in case I missed what to do with it all.
At Bandra station, he asked me to wait for him on the bridge as he would pick up our tickets and luggage.
I was standing there on the bridge just seeing the big heads of people, for the first time in my life I saw this huge crowd. Everyone is running in the opposite direction.
For a moment I felt like throwing up and I saw a few people who were interested in me asking me about my address, phone number. I realized that I had fainted for the first time in my life and was lying on a bridge.
I told them my brother's phone number and fainted.
The next time I opened my eyes, my brother was there with lemon juice and there were other people.
Now no matter how my brother found the car until he reached Mankhurd, he was able to carry me literally with the luggage.
After a cold drink I was able to reach Kamothe (Mansarovar) from Mankhurd.
Now we are in our flat where my brother lived with one of my cousins.
The next day,
Baiya: See Nibha, Mumbai is a great place it would be better if you go back home, I don't think you can handle it.
Me: No I will.
Biya: All right. You have until 31 Jan when you get the job OK. You must also return to our city.
Me: OK.
I was only two months old, I was sure I would get it.
My brother started training me, he used to take my jokes with Java Developer jokes.
He was teaching me.
he told me all about the Mumbai area, it was his strict command to stay in the women’s room only and pick up tickets at all times.
He used to go to office 9 to 7 and I would stay home or just go out with him. After 10 days he asked me to book this place and reach out to Vashi he would only meet me there (he wanted to check if I could go alone or not as he would not go with me to the interviews as he had his job)
I arrived at the station about 5-6 local people died I was still at the same station.
I phoned him and came back to book.
I was a little less enthusiastic, now Baiya trained me on a double trip and asked me to give every interview I could get from the office and the call center as well.
He wanted me to be trained in conversation and travel.
Now every day has a different story. One day I received a call from the company. I got there, got an interview, and was selected after a great struggle. The date was 18 January 2010.
It was my 21st birthday and my best gift.
Then I did not stop and never look back!
The debt goes to my brother and my parents and me as well.
I know it is not an exciting story which is why I have never written about it before but it is my best story in Mumbai.
Thanks!
